Neelufer Suhrabie

Writer, Afghanistan

I am Neelufer Suhrabie, a keen short story writer with an immense love for narrating stories. I was born and raised in Kabul, where the diversity of history, culture, and daily life shaped my perception and sparked my imagination. Writing has ever been my way of exploring feelings, ideas, and the richness of human nature.

I am a graduate of Literature Faculty and have done my master's in Pedagogy, both of which have reinforced my understanding of language, narration, and the power of education. Both have not just refined my craft but also strengthened my belief in literature's power to change lives.

I draw inspiration from the world around me, life itself, and the lives of the people who surround me, and my writing comes to freeze moments, feelings, and thoughts that remain long after the page. As I mature as a writer, I remain dedicated to refining my craft and bringing stories that speak to the complexities of life and imagination.
